Are you really happy with your current job position? Anyone could be happier when it comes to the workplace, but you'll want to consider that there are a lot of reasons why you may just be upset, but overall you are happy. Take your bad days and put them aside. You really only want to judge rather or not you are having a good day. This way you'll be able to focus more on how you really feel about your company and about your work place. You will want to keep in mind that there are a lot of changes that you can make, but you'll need to learn how to focus on yourself for a few minutes to understand where your feelings are coming from. The first thing that you'll want to think about is how you are able to make yourself happy with your job. Why do you keep your job? Think about everything that you would lose if you didn't have this job. You may find that you'll end up losing a lot more than what you want. You could lose your family, you could lose your home, and you could lose it all. Be thankful for all that your job allows you to have, because without the job you may not be able to support the things that matter the most to you. Then you need to think about the reasons why you personally come to work. Maybe you really love doing what you do. There are a lot of personal reasons why someone will work harder at being happy at a job that is mundane. You will want to keep your spirits high by focusing on all the positive aspects of the job and also when you focus on your feelings towards your job. With your feelings you will be able to discover that there is a lot more to your job that you like then you think. This will keep you motivated to work harder at the job and eventually your spirits will begin to get a boast. You will also want to consider rather or not it is the work load that challenges you too much or if it is the work hours. You may need to have a talk to the boss and see if there is anyway that you will be able to spend more time at home with the kids or less time worrying about pushing paper. You'll need to learn how to balance work and play so that you can have a fulfilling life. You will need to have the time for a social life, but you still need to be able to work in order to support your needs financially. You may want to think about some of your workload options, even if it is just for a week or so. Everyone needs some time to recuperate. Keep in mind that everyone finds themselves wondering about what is important to them and if the job is working out. you are not the only person to figure out that you are unhappy over work. You will want to learn how to do something about your feelings so that you can maintain working with the company, but yet, still be able to pursue other options. You will find that there is a lot to gain from reflection and you will want to take everything that you learn about yourself and learn how to use it in career development. This way you can constantly be reaching for better opportunities. You never know what options you might have in the future just a little bit down the road, because you may end up working your way through the corporate ladder to your dream job.
